Here’s How Biden Recovers from That Debate

By Thomas Anderson Jul 3, 2024

The recent Supreme Court ruling confirming and expanding the Constitutional immunity provided the Office of the Presidency expanded the powers of the office in ways never seen before.  In this age of oligarchs and dictators long-time democracies like the United States are turning to stronger executive powers in part to deal with the ever-changing geopolitical landscape nations like America must traverse as a foundational beam within the world order.  With that said the Biden administration has an opportunity to reset their campaign while at the same time reframing the role of the Presidency creating a more inclusive power-sharing version of the Office providing expanded powers to the Legislative Branch as well as State and local governments.  Biden’s physical condition may be a blessing in disguise offering America and other democracies worldwide a blueprint for a more inclusive power-sharing top executive.

Consider Biden in his current capacity taking on a different role as Commander in Chief, one that focuses on transitioning the nation from a top-down micromanaged government centered on the White House to a more diffuse government structure where the Vice President takes on a bigger role relieving many of the domestic political issues. In contrast, the President focuses more on the nation’s foreign affairs.  The Biden Administration should admit the President is overworked and can’t easily campaign while leading an international conflict against a litany of world powers and their support system of characters like Kim Jung Un.  It could be argued that even though the President has traditionally been expected to carry such loads such an approach is unnecessary and inefficient.  So unnecessary the Biden campaign should announce major changes to their campaign relabeling Kamala Harris as not only VP but co-POTUS.  Having a label of co-POTUS training under an aged Biden should come with the promise that Kamala Harris will carry that increased role from the campaign into the White House taking on new and important powers no other Vice President in history has ever been tasked with.

The Biden-Harris campaign should be touted and labeled as the first-ever President/Co-President duo in American history.  A dual-headed dragon of two POTUS-type figures traversing the nation from event to event would allow Biden the time to recover from stressful trips abroad managing frayed partnerships from Ukraine, to Africa, to South America.  Representative Byron Donalds

spoke

recently on the record number of US Embassy attacks and closures abroad under the Biden administration.  Our superiority is being challenged on every front, giving Biden the ability to focus on these challenges while getting the required rest a man of his age needs is paramount and an elevated Kamala Harris accomplishes this in spades.  The risk here is relying on Kamala Harris to win the Presidency against the Trump machine.  It’s a risk I believe has to be taken because it answers the questions everyone has about VP Harris, can she maintain and carry the burden of the Presidency?  Is she cut out for that type of mission?  This new approach would answer that question, if she falters maybe Trump wins but that’s the kind of approach we need as a nation right now.

Biden has the opportunity to be the ultimate king-maker POTUS, using the rest of this campaign and another four years in office to lay a foundation of leadership throughout our nation that can help lead us forward for the next few generations.  Getting our power structure managed with a more open and transparent government on all levels and in every branch should be the starting point in all of this.  It’s time America opens up the books to allow the type of accountability our nation has been missing for a while now.  It wasn’t until 2013 the Federal government was able to track where Medicare dollars were going.  If anyone were to ask HHS any time before 2013 which doctors were the top recipients of Medicare cash no one would be able to tell you.  One of the first people convicted through the 2013 breakthrough of tracking Medicare dollars was an eye doctor named Salomon Melgen.  His co-defendant on corruption and bribery charges was Senator Bob Menendez, who is currently back on trial for bribery and corruption charges.  We have the technology to open up government like never before allowing the people to audit our own government.  The Biden campaign, in calling for a new Kingmaker role for the POTUS this time around needs to open things up so we the people can take on more of our own destiny.

Health and wellness are the biggest issues facing our aging nation, Biden’s current troubles should be a redoubling of the effort Michelle Obama laid out for the nation’s food supply.  Exercise and open, clean, safe environments should become a campaign staple with Biden leading the charge personally.  His campaign should chronicle his rise from barely making it through a debate against Trump to a new invigorated Chief Executive leading from the Kingmaker position.  Biden the Queenmaker is the idea, and Kamala is the first Queen Biden bestows his powers upon.  It’s not too late to change gears team Biden.  Apologize for the performance, revamp your campaign, and show the American people what a Kingmaker Presidency looks like.
